Ron Hunt
If Ron Hunt had had a coat of arms, the obvious color scheme would have been "black and blue"
Second baseman Ron Hunt was originally signed by the Milwaukee Braves, and they sold him to the Mets prior to the 1963 season, a move they immediately came to regret. Milwaukee suffered with terrible offense from their second baseman Frank Bolling in 1963 and 1964, while Hunt had a great start to his career.
